Data Sources & Methodology
Notice: This page outlines how our analysis tools process numbers. Remember that past frequency does not guarantee future results.
Where We Get Our Data
Currently, the website contains a robust set of static, sample historical data designed to demonstrate how the statistical algorithms work in real-time within your browser.
In the future, we intend to link these tools to live, verified open data API endpoints provided by official organizations for Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max. Because we are an independent organization without official ties, the data presented is gathered from publicly available results but may contain slight discrepancies.
Our Algorithm Methodology
The "I Am Very Lucky" generators rely on several core mathematical and statistical principles:
- Historical Frequency: We analyze how many times a given number has appeared across the provided dataset. We then calculate a weight based on your "Frequency vs. Trend" slider.
- Co-occurrence (Pairs/Triplets): We map how often specific numbers are drawn in the same set as others. A number that has frequently appeared alongside another highly-weighted number gains increased priority.
- Positional Ranges (High/Low & Odd/Even): The algorithm attempts to maintain a balanced ratio across the generated set, mirroring the bell-curve distribution typical of truly random draws (e.g., aiming for a balanced mix of odd and even numbers).
- Carryover Tracking: We specifically track numbers that repeat from the most recent draw provided in the dataset. Users can choose to include or exclude recent repeated numbers.
Client-Side Processing
All algorithms, sorting, and generating occur inside your web browser. When you use the application, no numbers are sent back to our servers, ensuring your selections remain entirely private.
